Position Overview:
The "Of Counsel" will join the dynamic team in New Delhi. The role requires extensive experience in legal practice, with a strong understanding of both domestic and international law. The Of Counsel will provide specialized legal advice, represent clients in complex legal matters, and contribute to the firm’s overall success.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on complex legal matters.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters.
- Collaborate with partners and associates on legal strategies and case management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Stay updated on legal developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior associates and contribute to their professional growth.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Admission to the Bar Council of India.
- A minimum of 10 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Proven expertise in one or more practice areas such as corporate law, commercial litigation, real estate, intellectual property, or taxation.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A track record of successfully managing complex legal matters.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
